This beast is covered in Garnet Red paint with the standard black vinyl interior. The 1969 Z/28 may be the most sought after piece from the muscle car generation. It wasn't the fastest muscle car, but with single season styling and a unique combination of brake, engine, and exhaust options, the '69 Z/28 has stood the test of time. The Z/28 option came with the 302 V8 small block paired with the Muncie 4-speed manual transmission with a “new for 69” standard Hurst shifter that was connected to a 12 bolt rear end. This example has a few upgrades, such as; coated headers, Autometer console gauges, aftermarket stereo, wood grin steering wheel, etc... This is believed to be a matching number combination and does feature the "DZ" 302 block. Standard features include; power steering, power disc brakes, front disc brakes, standard black interior, 8,000 RPM Tach, console, Muncie transmission, and 12 bolt rear end. The first-generation was available in Super Sport, Rally Sport, and beginning in December 1966 the high-performance Z/28, models.
